 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. President Joyce Banda: coming to the Synagogue to pray          Joyce Banda,Malawi female president,left her country today on a south Africa Airways flight to lagos,to begin a three day private visit to Nigeria,not to the president but to TB Joshua's church for a 3day program,to receive prayers for her and her small country.At the departure ceremony in Lilongwe today,she said she wanted to use the time to reflect on 201 and what lies ahead in 2014.Mrs Branda is due to face a general election in May 2014.She said she has been coming to Nigeria for prayers in the last five years,and this visit is normal.She said ''some of you maybe aware that i go for prayers in Nigeria.This year i also decided to take a three day holiday for prayers''.She calls TB Joshua her nspiritual father.                              TB JoshuaPresident Joyce Banda, right with Nigeria's first couple
