Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing. Today tuesday,Chila Dodo Bulus was arraigned before the Federal High court in Maitama Abuja for a two count on oil theft and pipeline vandalism with 14 others suspects.He was arraigned by the EFCC {Economic and Financial Crimes Commission}.The court was to fix a date for his trial and remand him and 14 others in prison but the defence counsel argued that they should grant Bulus bail,since he will be available for trial when called upon.However,the prosecutor objected on the ground that the offence committed by the accused person is an economic sabotage against the state which attracts life imprisonment if found guilty.The case was adjourned till 25 february for ruling on the bail application,while the accused person is to remain in prison custody.Mr Bulus signed up to protect the people of Nigria instead the reverse is the case.If you are not ready for a particular job and you are sure of not being capable,please don't apply for that job,if not alot of things might happen along the line that can damage your reputation.
