  NBC bans Eedris Abdulkareem’s protest song ‘Tell Your Papa’ from radio, TV The National Broadcasting Commission has barred Nigerian radio and television stations from airing the trending song “Tell Your Papa” by veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, citing its “objectionable nature.” In a memo dated April 9, 2025 and issued by the Coordinating Director of Broadcast Monitoring, Susan Obi, the commission declared the track Not To Be Broadcast (NTBB) under Section 3.1.8 of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code. This section prohibits content deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in breach of public decency from being aired on Nigerian broadcast platforms. According to the NBC, while the song has gained momentum across social media platforms, its lyrical content fails to meet the standards of responsible broadcasting. US,X FACTOR WILL NOT RETURN FOR A FORTH SEASON THIS YEAR.

Comeback: Cowell hasn't features on UK version of The X Factor since 2011         Simon Cowell,the creator of the X factor,returns to the UK,after three years of absents from the judging panel,to film 11th season of the UK version.The US version of the X factor will not return for a fortjh season this year.Simon,whose entertainment company Syco co-produces the X factor with Fremantle media Uk said,''I'm absolutely thrilled to be returning to the X factor UK,it's been three years since i last judged the competition and i'm excited to find a global super star again''.What's he insinuating,that their is no talent or global star in the US?,that saucy of him to say.More pictures below.        How it was: Straight talking Cowell, seen here with Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue, was a hit with fans during his tenure on The X Factor UKA welcome return: Cowell says he is 'absolutely thrilled' to be returning to Thew X Factor

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
