 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.              Musician Heleno is a Nigerian from the Idoma speaking area of Benue state.She was born and brought up in Benue state,she is the second child out of five children,luckily for Heleno.she came from a family that believes in her.Her daf is a Chief magistrate and her mum a business woman,their support and encouragement gave her a stepping stone.Heleno grew up listening to legends like Michael Jackson,Whitney Houston,Mariah Carey,Sade Adu,Toni Braxton.Anytime i watch and listen to them,i get empowered and inspired.She started school at Hillcrest nursery and primary in Jos,Plateau state.She holds a Diploma in Mass ommunication from the university of Jos and a bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Nasarawa stae University Keffi.She graduated in 2008 and proceeded for her NYSC in Guiness Nigeria plc,Lagos state between 2009-2010.Her music talent was discovered at the tender age of eight and since then,music has become a part of my body,soul and mind.She is a mult talented singer,songwriter,rapper,dancer and a fashionista.To me,music is my life and the only thing that refreshes.Music gives me confidence,helps me to relax and feel the people around me.She is into R&B,soul Hip hop,Dancehall,pop,more than you can imagine.I promise to touch life with my music and dancehall.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
