             Musician Heleno is a Nigerian from the Idoma speaking area of Benue state.She was born and brought up in Benue state,she is the second child out of five children,luckily for Heleno.she came from a family that believes in her.Her daf is a Chief magistrate and her mum a business woman,their support and encouragement gave her a stepping stone.Heleno grew up listening to legends like Michael Jackson,Whitney Houston,Mariah Carey,Sade Adu,Toni Braxton.Anytime i watch and listen to them,i get empowered and inspired.She started school at Hillcrest nursery and primary in Jos,Plateau state.She holds a Diploma in Mass ommunication from the university of Jos and a bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Nasarawa stae University Keffi.She graduated in 2008 and proceeded for her NYSC in Guiness Nigeria plc,Lagos state between 2009-2010.Her music talent was discovered at the tender age of eight and since then,music has become a part of my body,soul and mind.She is a mult talented singer,songwriter,rapper,dancer and a fashionista.To me,music is my life and the only thing that refreshes.Music gives me confidence,helps me to relax and feel the people around me.She is into R&B,soul Hip hop,Dancehall,pop,more than you can imagine.I promise to touch life with my music and dancehall.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
