Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area. A sergent ans an inspector,called Bashiru were attacked when they attempted to seize some motorcycles at Aso Rock in Festac town lagos.The police officers raided the place located at 7th Avenue,72 road at about 1.30am to seize commercial motorcycles parked inside the compound by owners who reside there.The four officers who went on the operation on tuesday were overpowered and disarmed.While two of them were clubbed to death,the other two escaped.After the mob action,accupants of the large compound fled.An eye witness said the men came in a police van and forced themselves into the compound and started carting motorcycles into the van at the time of the night.When efforts by the residents to stop the policemen failed,they decided to attack the officers.No one knows if the operation is illegal or not.Police later came to carry the dead bodies of the two police.
