 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. 2 POLICEMEN DEAD IN FESTAC AFTER BEING MOBBED BY OKADA MEN.

               A sergent ans an inspector,called Bashiru were attacked when they attempted to seize some motorcycles at Aso Rock in Festac town lagos.The police officers raided the place located at 7th Avenue,72 road at about 1.30am to seize commercial motorcycles parked inside the compound by owners who reside there.The four officers who went on the operation on tuesday were overpowered and disarmed.While two of them were clubbed to death,the other two escaped.After the mob action,accupants of the large compound fled.An eye witness said the men came in a police van and forced themselves into the compound and started carting motorcycles into the van at the time of the night.When efforts by the residents to stop the policemen failed,they decided to attack the officers.No one knows if the operation is illegal or not.Police later came to carry the dead bodies of the two police.
