 Rep. John Larson files impeachment articles against Trump over Iran war threats     Rep. John Larson announced Tuesday that he has filed articles of impeachment against President Trump, citing the president’s recent social media post threatening to destroy a “whole civilization” if the Strait of Hormuz was not immediately reopened. Larson said Trump’s actions in the ongoing war in Iran are illegal and endangering American lives and the economy. The filing comes after Trump temporarily paused the strikes for two weeks following Pakistan’s request for an extended deadline to allow diplomatic efforts. Larson criticized Trump’s remarks, including his Easter Sunday post, as increasingly unstable and a threat to U.S. security. Seventy Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sen.             According to sources,Nelson Mandela's widow was moved to say something,and in between broke the customary mourning period to call on the Nigerian government and international community to move to find the 234 school girls kidnapped by Boko Haram.Graca Machel Mandela says ''The Nigerian government has a responsibility to protect it's citizens,and keep them safe.If the world can mobilise all the means possible to search for a plane carrying 239 passengers,certainly it can also mobilise the means to find our girls.They deserve nothing less.I decided to break the restrictions of my mourning because silence is not an option.I know however,that Madiba will understand and approve''.The mourning was to be for one year but was reduce to six months for her.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
