Yesterday saturday i attended two weddings, which turned out to be almost the same environment in Oniru Victoria Island Lagos. The first wedding was a free entry, once you flash your invitation to the bouncers they will open the door for you to enter. When i entered the venue, everybody was still shaking hands, pecking and hugging as if there is no Ebola alert in Lagos Nigeria. The second wedding turned out differently, your invite was not only your pass in,but there is hand sanitizer with a female bouncer wearing the Ebola hand glove forcing you to wash your hands before you enter the venue.People were laughing as we all lined up like school children waiting to wash our hands before entry. Now when we all got in,people were so scared to sit close or shake hands.Whats the lesson behind my story?,is that you should not compromise with your health no matter the level of familiarity you have with anybody.More photos below.
