 Northern California McDonald’s manager recovering after coworker allegedly threw hot oil on him, police say     A Northern California McDonald’s shift manager is recovering after police say a coworker threw hot oil on him during an attack at the restaurant, leaving him with second-degree burns over 22% of his body. Jacob Smith, 20, was attacked Saturday at the McDonald’s where he works in Yuba City, a community about 40 miles north of Sacramento, according to police. His mother, Amber Smith, described him as a kind and generous young man who is now focused on recovery despite serious injuries. “He’s got second-degree burns over 22% of his body. They said he was in excruciating pain yesterday,” she said. Police said officers responded after receiving reports that an employee had assaulted another worker. 40 OUT OF 119 INFECTED PEOPLE,DIED FROM A PLAGUE IN MADAGASCAR-W.H.O.

                                                           According to the World Health Organisation {W.H.O},they confirmed yesterday friday that there is an outbreak of plagues that has killed 40 people out of 119 confirmed cases in Madagascar since late August and there is a risk of the disease spreading rapidly in the capital.''So far two cases and one death have been recorded in the capital Antananarivo but these figures could climb quickly due to the city's high population density and the weakness of the healthcare system.The situation is further complicated by the high level of resistance to Deltamrthrin,an insecticide used to control fleas,that has been observed in the country.The plague is a bacterial/disease and is mainly spread from one rodent to another by fleas.Humans bitten by an infected flea usually develop a bubonic form of plague,which swells the lymph node and can be treated with antibiotics''.More photos below.
