 Nigerian Association for Family Development releases communique on 18 biennial conference held in Awka By Chris Chikelue The Nigerian Association For Family Development (NAFAD) has made public the communique made at the 18th Biennial conference  themed: 'Marriage as a Vocation- Flourishing Despite Modern Challenges'. The communique which was issued on March 30, 2025 at the Bishop AK Obiefuna  Retreat and Pastoral Centre, Okpunor, Awka, Anambra State was signed by NAFAD National President, Mr. Uche Okpala and its National Secretary,  Mrs Tayo Akinyede. It was a gathering that brought together couples, relationship experts, and singles to explore practical ways to strengthen marriages and address contemporary relationship challenges. According to the communique the event emphasized that marriage is a sacred vocation—a call to total self-giving, sacrifice, and shared purpose in building resilient families. Angry rash: Solange Knowles was pictures with raised, itchy-looking blemishes all over her face and neck as she left her New Orleans wedding venue on Sunday after tying the knot with Alan Ferguson             Yesterday sunday in New Orleans,Solange Knowles,the sister to Beyonce,was attacked spiritually and physically on her wedding day as she suffered food allergy and a wardrobe malfunction as she was seen marrying her video director boyfriend Alan Ferguson in the night.She was seen in the car with Beyonce and her Brother in-law Jay Z with her face full of lumps {hives} and Beyonce was busy trying to cover Solange's face but Solange is not ready to hide her face.Solange walked with her shoulders so high that she forgot her nipples were peeping from her outfit to also witness the wedding.This is a tragedy and every bride's worst night mare.More photos below.                                                                                                                       It's my party, I can let loose if I want to!  Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
