 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. •Edward Nnaji (left) and other kidnap suspects                        25 years old Edward Nnaji,wearing white  singlet in the picture above was arrested with two other accomplices,two years after they allegedly conspired with others to kidnap a female banker,Popoola Morenikeji,and collected the sum of N5million as ransom before they set her free.The suspects according to the police,allegedly kidnapped the victim at Amuwo Odofin area of Mile 2,Lagos,close to her residence when she stepped out of her vehicle to buy something and took her to an uncompleted building in a bush at Mowe area of Ogun state.They allegedly tied her legs and hands and kept her for four days until a ransom was paid before they set her free.The victim family paid the sum of N5 million as ransom.The suspects also sold the victims Toyota Corolla car valued at N1.8 million for N250,000 to David Nwangboe,who is now at large.They als sold all her jewellery and hand sets of the victim valued at N2 million and shared the loot.Other suspects arrested in connection with the crime includes 23 year old Osas Osagie from Ogbe village,Oredo LGA of Edo state and 29 year old Patrick Donatus Jackson who resides at 13 Famuyiwa street,Idimangoro Agege,Lagos,and hails from Akwa Ibom state.Nemesis caught up with the kidnappers two years after crime when they regrouped and sent a threat text message to the victim to send N150,000 into their account for recharge card,with a warning that if she failed to send the money,they will trail her this time around and eliminate her.The banker immediately sent a petition to the Inspector General of police after receiving the SMS to save her from the Kidnappers.They suspects were all  arrested after the police made their investigations.They were arraigned before a Magistrate court in Igosere but their plea was not taken and the matter was adjourned to 13th of January 2015 for mention.Edward Nnaji who is the ring leader is said to have acted a movie titled ''Friday Night'' and he his also the music Director at Christ Embassy church,Zone 1,Idimangoro prish,Agege,Lagos.
