 15-year-old Jaylen's huge catch has been officially certified as the biggest catch in the state of Ohio! Congratulations, Jaylen!  ---------------------------------------- 15-year-old Ohio girl reels in a record breaking catch!  Jaylen Parker was jugging (using a Clorox bottle and 200 lb test line) on the Ohio River, an activity her and her dad have shared since early childhood. Little did she know she was getting ready to have the fishing story of a lifetime.   Jaylen pulled in a 101.11 lb blue catfish, an Ohio state record if confirmed by the state!  Jaylen admits her dad and his friend helped her wrangle in this massive fish. She says she only weighs 10 lbs more than her humongous catch so there was no way she could have pulled it in by herself. After weighing, documenting and photographing this ancient creature from the depths of the Ohio River she released it back to continue its fish life.  Great job Jaylen we are all waiting for the official confirmation with you!

           Nadia Buari and her mother attended Majid Michel's mum {Paulina Afi Olabode Olympio},burial and she wore a very lovely black transparent kaftan,designed with silver stones,that exploded like a fire works,giving it that splash.Though the burial was held on the 5th of December but Majid's mum actually died on friday 10th of October 2014,at the age of 63 after a brief illness in an Accra hospital in Ghana.Nadis Buari captioned the picture above ''Thanks Kukie's closet at argingano east legon for these beautiful dress.#About Majid's mum's funeral yesterday''.More photos of the burial below.                                                     majid

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
