Labour Party Lifts Suspension on 26 Members, Elects Dokubo Women Leader The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Labour Party (LP) has lifted the suspension earlier imposed on 26 members of the party. Among those affected are Hilda Dokubo, Emmanuel Agida, Abayomi Arabambi, Ogar Osim, Muhammed Aliyu, Casmir Uchenna, Airen Igbinedion, Auwal Ahmed, and 18 others. The decision was taken on Tuesday during the party’s national convention held at the International Conference Centre in Umuahia, Abia State. Delegates from across the country approved the move through a unanimous voice vote, signaling broad support for the reinstatement of the affected members. Chairman of the elective national convention, Ginger Onwusibe, formally announced the recall following the delegates’ decision.
