 BREAKING NEWS ANAMBRA POLICE RECORD FURTHER BREAKTHROUGH IN OGIDI, RECOVER MORE ARMS In continuation of an earlier operation by Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, which led to the arrest of three suspects and recovery of arms in Ogidi on 21st March 2026, the Anambra State Police Command has recorded further breakthrough following sustained investigation and interrogation. The Operatives made additional progress with the arrest of the suspected ringleader of the syndicate, one Chukwuka Anene ‘M’, aged 46 years, who confessed to being the armourer of the gang. The suspect subsequently led Police operatives to the gang’s hideout in Ogidi, where the following items were recovered: two pump-action guns, two locally made Beretta pistols, five rounds of 9mm ammunition, seven live cartridges, a beret linked to a cult group, and body armour. The Command has intensified efforts to apprehend other fleeing members of the gang, while investigations remain ongoing. Further developm...

UNITED STATES TO USE SPANISH AIR BASE TO COMBAT EBOLA.?.

               According to sources who are in the Defense ministry said today that the United States has asked the Madrid government for permission to use their U.S air bases in Spain,for its operation to combat the Ebola crisis in Africa.''The U.S authorities have indeed asked Spain to use their bases in their country as a transit point for logistics and engineers building up field hospitals in Liberia and Sierra Leone.None of the planes will transport patients or people suspected to have contracted Ebola,or who have been in contact with infected people.Spain will have a right to inspect the planes and passengers''.The decision is due to be announced tomorrow friday when Spanish Defense Minister Pedro Morenes meets U.S Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel in Washington.The United States has four bases in Spain,at Moron Dela Frontera near seville and Rota near Cadiz in southern Spain,Torrejon de Ardoz near ,Madrid and Zaragoza in the north.If Madrid have sense they should tell U.S,that everybody should take care of their own Ebola Virus patients in their various countries.More photoS below.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
