 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. UNITED STATES TO USE SPANISH AIR BASE TO COMBAT EBOLA.?.

               According to sources who are in the Defense ministry said today that the United States has asked the Madrid government for permission to use their U.S air bases in Spain,for its operation to combat the Ebola crisis in Africa.''The U.S authorities have indeed asked Spain to use their bases in their country as a transit point for logistics and engineers building up field hospitals in Liberia and Sierra Leone.None of the planes will transport patients or people suspected to have contracted Ebola,or who have been in contact with infected people.Spain will have a right to inspect the planes and passengers''.The decision is due to be announced tomorrow friday when Spanish Defense Minister Pedro Morenes meets U.S Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel in Washington.The United States has four bases in Spain,at Moron Dela Frontera near seville and Rota near Cadiz in southern Spain,Torrejon de Ardoz near ,Madrid and Zaragoza in the north.If Madrid have sense they should tell U.S,that everybody should take care of their own Ebola Virus patients in their various countries.More photoS below.
