Chawai Community Appeals To Gov. Uba Sani For Relief, Medical Support After Deadly Kauru Attack The people of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide urgent relief and medical assistance to victims of the deadly attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward. In an open letter addressed to the governor, the community commended his leadership, describing his administration as inclusive and fair. They said this had given residents confidence that every community in the state is valued. The community, however, expressed concern over what it described as the lack of government intervention following the attack on Naridon village, in which it said 30 people were killed. According to the letter, many survivors and families of the victims are still struggling with grief, trauma, displacement, and the challenges of caring for those injured in the attack. In a press release today tuesday by Femi Falana,he said the Oba's diversionary threat to the Igbo's is totally unacceptable as it is a mockery of the political objective of national integraion.''It is illegal as it clearly offends section 42 of the Costitution which has prohibited discrimination on grounds of ethnicity,religion,politica, opinion,creed or sex.The Oba lacks the power to cause anyone to die in the Lagoon within seven days,the threat constitutes a violation of the fundamental right of thousands of citizens to life.I urge the Oba to apologise without delay''.Well i know the Oba is campaigning hard for Ambode but most igbo's found the word jumping into the lagoon very offensive if they don't support Ambode.Even if the Eze Ndigbo's have agreed with him to support Ambode,Oba Akiolu would not have generalized it to all Igbos,because not all Igbos want to support Ambode,and each Igbo man or woman,have the right to vote for who ever they want to vote for because it is their constitutional right.
