 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES OTEGA OGRA ON ELECTION TO WORLD FEDERATION OF ADVERTISERS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE President Bola Tinubu has congratulated his Senior Special Assistant on Digital Engagement, Strategy and New Media, Mr Otega Ogra, on his election to the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA). A statement by Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President, Information & Strategy, indicates that the election took place at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting during the Global Marketing Week Conference in Stockholm, Sweden. THE LAGOS HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY,HONOURS THE CLEANER JOSEPINE,WHO PICKED N12M,IN LAGOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

Miss Josephine Agwu                             Today monday Miss Josephine Ugwu,the cleaner who returned the sum of N12million in foreign currencies which she fund at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport,Ikeja Lagos to the Airport security in January 2015.The Lagos House of Assembly decided to honour today for her honesty.Deputy Speaker,Hon Kolawole Taiwo who presided over the sitting,presented a letter of commendation and an undisclosed sum of money to Miss Ugwu.The letter and the money were for her act of honesty and patriotism for returning the sum of N12 million on friday,23 January 2015.The Deputy Speaker also thanked Miss Ugwu for leveraging the country through the act of returning the money.According to the letter,her action is a great inspiration to many who believed in the future of Nigeria.''Your conduct has positively affected the image of Nigeria internationally.It is an act worthy of emulation,because of this we decided to hold a special parliamentary session to celebrate your honesty,integrity,uprightness,sincerity,truthfulness and patriotism.We truly believe in you''.Thanking the House for the gesture,Miss Ugwu said ''I never expected that i will be honoured to be in this Assembly talk more of being recognised and honoured by this institution.My family trained me not to take anything that does nit belong to me.I also want to prove to the world that Nigeria is a good country with people of integrity unlike the wrong impression they have about the country''.
