 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. OSCAR PISTORIUS,TO BE RELEASED FROM JAIL,AUGUST 2015.

                         South African authorities said athlete Oscar Pistorius will be released on parole on August 2 after serving 10 months of a five year sentence for culpable homicide of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.The Olympic ad Paralympic track star is behind bars in the capital Pretoria,after being convicted last year October after a seven month trial.The release of Pistorius whose lower legs were amputated when he was a baby,had been largely expected under South African sentencing guidelines that say non-dangerous prisoners should spend only one sixth of a custodial sentence behind bars.A prison service statement said Pistorius would spend the remainder of his time under ''Correctional supervision'',a form of house arrest.His girlfriend 29 year old Reeva Steenkamp was a law graduate and a model,died on Valentine's Day in 2013 when Pistorius shot her through a locked toilet door at his luxury Pretoria home,but he claimed that he fired the gun by mistaken belief that an intruder was hiding behind the door.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
