McDonald’s launches World Cup meal and collectible cups ahead of 2026 FIFA tournament kickoff McDonald’s is launching limited-time World Cup meals and collectibles ahead of the FIFA tournament kickoff on June 11, as excitement builds for the expanded 48-team competition co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. The fast-food chain, returning as an official tournament sponsor, will roll out its World Cup-themed menu nationwide starting June 4. Customers can choose between a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets meal, both served with a special gold-packaged Big Mac Sauce. As part of the promotion, McDonald’s is also releasing collectible cups featuring nine global soccer stars and cultural icons. The lineup includes Christian Pulisic, David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Son Heung-Min, Lamine Yamal, Alphonso Davies, Santiago Gimenez, and the brand’s mascot Grimace. 6 PEOPLE OUT OF 18 IN KENYA,DIED TODAY FROM LOCALLY BREWED ALCOHOL POISONED BEER.

                According to the Governor of Kiambu,William Kabogo,said today friday that six people died of alcohol withdrawal symptoms in the hospital.The six people were among the 18 people admitted to different hospitals in the country siince wednesday.''It is unfortunate that we have lost the six,but efforts are being made to save those admitted in 14 level four five hospital.My government would issue licenses only to brewers cleared by Kenya Bureau of standardsThe fight continues and there is no room for illicit brews in Kiambu.The symptoms of withdrawal includes shaking,sweating,delusions,confusion,aggressiveness,fever,fits and convulsions.''.Earlier,Kiambu County Director for clinical services Jacob Toro said rehabilitation centres had been set up for alcohol addicts following the crackdown on low priced,high alcohol spirits.More photos below.
