Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court.                 According to the Governor of Kiambu,William Kabogo,said today friday that six people died of alcohol withdrawal symptoms in the hospital.The six people were among the 18 people admitted to different hospitals in the country siince wednesday.''It is unfortunate that we have lost the six,but efforts are being made to save those admitted in 14 level four five hospital.My government would issue licenses only to brewers cleared by Kenya Bureau of standardsThe fight continues and there is no room for illicit brews in Kiambu.The symptoms of withdrawal includes shaking,sweating,delusions,confusion,aggressiveness,fever,fits and convulsions.''.Earlier,Kiambu County Director for clinical services Jacob Toro said rehabilitation centres had been set up for alcohol addicts following the crackdown on low priced,high alcohol spirits.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
