 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways.                   Serena Williams has claimed her 6th Wimbledon open title after beating 20th seed,Garbine Muguruza 6-4,in the women's final today saturday.Serena Williams holds all four Grand Slam for the second time in her career and she is just one Grand Slam away from matching Stefi Graf's open era record of 22 Grand Slams.She won her first Wimbledon title in 2002 and went on to win in 2003,2009,2010 and 2012.Congrats Serena.
