A Texas woman was ordered to stop walking away from the police. Instead, she strangled a kitten until its neck was broken. Authorities stepped in to end its suffering. The sad events in this story took place in Beaumont, Texas, on September 10th. On that Thursday evening, officers with the Beaumont Police Department were called to a domestic situation that ended in a physical struggle to save a kitten's life. Sadly, the officers attempts were unsuccessful. The events began when 45-year-old Heather Broussard's boyfriend contacted authorities for a welfare check. He reported that Heather was possibly a danger to herself. He told dispatchers that he was following behind her as she walked down Binger Road.
