 FIRST IMPORTED EBOLA CASE: NIGERIA EVACUATES INDEX CASE TO SWITZERLAND AS CONTAINMENT MEASURES CONTINUE The Nigeria’s confirmed Ebola index case has been medically evacuated from Abuja to Switzerland, following approval by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate. The forty-two-year-old patient, whose case marked Nigeria’s first imported Ebola virus disease case, was transferred alongside her spouse, who has remained asymptomatic. In a statement posted on his X handle, Professor Pate said the patient was clinically much improved, stable, conscious and able to communicate, with laboratory test results approaching baseline levels. However, the Minister cautioned that the patient’s clinical improvement does not necessarily mean she is no longer infectious, stressing that strict public health protocols remain in place.           Though there are rumors that the APC Chiefs urge President Buhari,to probe Patience Jonathan and other sources were claiming Patience Jonathan filed for a divorce,which turned out to be a big lie.Never the less,the couple visited Kenya's Maasai Mara Games Reserve in two chartered planes.One of the planes carried Kenya state security and the second plane was occupied by Jonathan,his wife Patience and two of their children.
