WHY WILL THIS WOMAN RUN,WHILE HER PERIOD IS FLOWING WITHOUT A PAD,DURING 2015 LONDON MARATHON?.''DISGUSTING''.

If you ask me,there are things that are not worth celebrating and making headlines.I will only pardon these woman if she was not aware she was on her monthly flow while she was running,.but if she new before hand, then she is not worth being celebrated because she is suppose to be promoting hygiene not un-hygiene.She is identified as 26 year old Kiran Gandhi and she crossed the finished line during the 2015 London marathon and she did it after making a bold choice to run while on her period and to bleed freely.Kiran who recently got her MBA from Harvard Business school and toured with Grammy nominated artist MIA as a drummer, got her period the night before the marathon,a day for which she had been training for a year.Kiran explained why she ran without a sanitary pad in a piece she wrote entitled ''Going with the flow:Blood and Ssterhood at the London Marathon''.She said ''Imagining running 26.2 miles with a wad of cotton material wedged between my legs,it's just seemed so absurd''.Then she told a magazine that ''I have this vision that if men had their period, because we are in a male privileging society, that rules would be written into the social fabric that enable men to take a moment when they need to or enable people to talk about periods openly''.Two of the her family members her brother and father were on the sidelines the day she ran the marathon. She was unsure how they would react to her statement, but when she reached them at the nine mile mark, they only cared about hugging her and taking photos. Please for the sake of next time, these kind of act she be discourage,we in the age, where alot of diseases stems out of being un-hygienic and she would have worn black.More photos below.
