 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. FIRE RAZED PART OF MINISTRY OF COMMERCE BUILDING IN LAGOS SECRETARIAT ALUASA TODAY.

                     Today saturday around 1pm fire gutted a portion of the Lagos State Ministry of commerce and industry at the Lagos State Government Secretariat,Alausa in Ikeja.The fire razed part of the third floor of the ministry.Thick smoke enveloped the building around 1pm with balls of fire emanating from the building thereafter.At least four offices were destroyed in the fire.Officials of the Lagos State Fire Service raced to the scene and were able to put out the fire before it razed the entire building.
