 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. NIGER REPUBLIC,DECLARES A 15 DAYS STATE OF EMERGENCY BECAUSE OF BOKO HARAM.

                  A 15 day state of emergency was declared by the Niger government to allow authorities to beef up security,impose a curfew and restrict the movement of goods and people.The state of emergency was imposed on the southeastern region of Diffa yesterday wednesday where at least 40 people have been killed in recent weeks in attacks blamed on the Islamist militant group Boko Haram.The government instituted similar measures in February.Diffa has endured at least 57 attacks since February,which was shown through a statistics published by the United Nations on friday.At least 150,000 refugees seeking protection from Boko Haram attacks in Nigeria line in Niger's Diffa region.Am so looking forward to a day when all these insurgency will end.One more photo below.
