 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. 22 PEOPLE DROWNED IN BURKINA FASO ON THURSDAY,IN A BUS ACCIDENT.

                    On thursday,22 people drowned in a dam in Burkina Faso after a bus they were travelling in,veered of the road and plunged into a dam in Kiebalgo region of the country.Eight other people were injured in the accident.The government said in statement that ''A total of 22 people were drowned in thursday's accident when a minibus fell into a dam in Kiebalogo,on national route 27.Investigation are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident''.Though sources claimed that road accidents are frequent occurrences in Burkina Faso with the poor state of roads and vehicles often to blame.Kibalogo is located 45 kilometres from Burkina Faso's second city of Bobo Dioulasso..
