 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. 22 PEOPLE DROWNED IN BURKINA FASO ON THURSDAY,IN A BUS ACCIDENT.

                    On thursday,22 people drowned in a dam in Burkina Faso after a bus they were travelling in,veered of the road and plunged into a dam in Kiebalgo region of the country.Eight other people were injured in the accident.The government said in statement that ''A total of 22 people were drowned in thursday's accident when a minibus fell into a dam in Kiebalogo,on national route 27.Investigation are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident''.Though sources claimed that road accidents are frequent occurrences in Burkina Faso with the poor state of roads and vehicles often to blame.Kibalogo is located 45 kilometres from Burkina Faso's second city of Bobo Dioulasso..
