 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.                                                                     Mohammed Audu,the son of the Late Prince Abubakar Audu,was dumped by the All Progreesives Congress {APC} because the the party felt that choosing him might vitiate the entire governorship poll in the state.After extensive consultations,the APC submitted the name of Yahaya Bello as the Party's new candidate for Kogi governorship supplementary poll.But the people of Kogi west were mounting pressure on Hon.James Abiodun Faleke yesterday friday not to accept the nomination of Bello.Although they asked Faleke to withdraw from the race,the deputy governorship candidate was yet to make up his mind on the next step.But sources gather that APC has retained Faleke as the party's deputy governorship candidate.One more photo below.
