 Man brutalises his pregnant wife in Anambra  In another case of domestic violence, a pregnant woman was brutally beaten by her husband in Ichi, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. The mother of three identified as Chinelo Francis, from Ebonyi State, said trouble began when she requested money from her husband, Peter, to prepare food.  According to the young woman, she had already bought vegetable with the profit she made from her shop. Peter, also from Ebonyi, claimed he didn’t make money that day and took the children home.  He returned to her shop at around 8:00 PM and insisted she close up and come home with him.  She refused, explaining that the time was when she typically made most of her sales.  Later, she closed up her shop, went home at 9:30 PM, prepared the children for bed, and retired. INEC SEIZED 7 PVCs FROM UNDER-AGED VOTERS TODAY AT THE PLATEAU'S BYE-ELECTION.

                                       Today saturday,Prof.Anthonia Simbini INEC {Independent National Electoral Commission},National Commissioner,North Central,made the disclosure to pressmen in Kwa,Qua'an Pan today saturday,said ''We discovered in some polling units three major problems during the accreditation in this bye-election,under-aged,fake party agents cards and low turn out of voters.We have seen with our eyes and seized seven PVCs from the under aged and five fake party agent cards in some few polling units visited.The children should not take the law into their hands but should wait until they reach the age of 18''.The commissioner expressed happiness with the presiding officers,who she said had turned away most of the under aged voters that came for accreditation.One more photo below.
