 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. MILITANTS TARGETED SOMALIA PRESIDENTIAL PALACE TODAY,BUT IT MISSED & KILLED PEOPLE IN THE AREA.

                     At least one person died and dozens of others injured according to sources,when a salvo of mortars targeting Somalia's presidential palace in Mogadishu missed and landed on a near by neighbourhood today monday.According to sources,the mortars were targeted at the Palace in Wardhigle district but missed and landed in a residential area.A small kid died and more than 10 were injured.This attack has left many residents in a state of shock and fear.No one has claimed the responsibility of the attack but all fingers are being pointed at the al-Shabaab carried out similar attacks in the past.Villa Somalia is a heavily fortified,but neglected compound in the heart of the city where the most senior Somali government officials,including the president,have their offices.Some also live inside the compound.More photos below.
