 NLC backs new SSG Chiamaka Nnake, Seeks Workers Welfare  By Ukpa Ewa  The Organized Labour in Anambra State has pledged support to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, while urging her to place the interest of Anambra and workers’ welfare at the forefront of her administration. The labour delegation, led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Comrade Chris Ogbonna of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), paid a courtesy visit to the new SSG at the Light House in Awka. Speaking during the visit, Comrade Nwafor said the office of the SSG plays a key role in government labour relations and called on Mrs. Nnake to ensure Anambra workers are given due attention in government affairs. He also congratulated her on becoming the first female SSG in the state at a young age, describing her appointment as historic. THE NIGERIAN ARMY,INTERCEPTED BOKO HARAM MEMBERS YESTERDAY,AND SEIzED THEIR SUPPLIES.

                  A statement by the spokesman pf the Nigerian Army,Sani Usman said that the troops while on operation at a cattle market yesterday wednesday morning,intercepted the insurgents and seized the supplies.''In continuation of their clearance operations of remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in the North East,troops of 212 Tank Battalion,29 Task Force Brigade,early this morning laid an ambush on some Boko Haram elements at a major cattle market in Gwai Mainari around Mainok general area.The ambush party supported by a quick Response Group {QRG},captured a Hilux vehicle containing 8 jerry cans of petroleum,oil and lubricants,large quantity of 7.62mm ammuitions,127mm ammunitions and 4 AK-47 rifles,as well as 5 hand grenades.Some of the terrorists were killed while others escaped with gunshot wounds.It is important to note that more operational strategies are being employed to further flush out the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists wherever they might be hiding in the North East''.One more photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
