  🇳🇴 Daniel Daga Sentenced by Norwegian Court, Appeals Verdict Molde FK midfielder Daniel Daga has been sentenced to six months in prison by a Norwegian court after being found guilty of committing a sexual act without consent. The Nigerian midfielder joined Molde FK from Enyimba just a year ago as one of the promising young talents to move from the NPFL to Europe. However, Daga has appealed the ruling through his lawyer, meaning the decision is not yet legally final and the case will continue through the Norwegian judicial system. Molde FK have also confirmed that the midfielder will not be included in the club’s matchday squad until further notice while the legal process continues.

EFFORTS IS BEING MADE TO TRACK DOWN FAKE FACEBOOK USERS,OF CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF-NIGERIAN ARMY.

                                                        Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar,Acting Director Defence Information said in a statement on thursday through social media that ''The attention of Defence Headquarters {DHQ} has been drawn to the existence of fake facebook accounts being operated in the name of the Chief of Defence Staff {CDS},General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin.The popular facebook accounts created by some cyber fraudsters,goes by different fake identities and official photographs of the Chief of Defence Staff are used.The pervasive facebook accounts has been misleading the general publics who have been patronizing the sites.We wish to therefore dissociate the CDS from the said accounts and call on the general public not to patronize them.The fraudsters are using the CDS facebook to extort money from unsuspecting citizens in the name of recruitment into the military and other sundry criminal purpose.The DHQ views this a a criminal act and efforts is being made to track and bring the perpetrators to book.This is for the awareness of the general public,please''.
