 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. THE NIGERIAN ARMY COLONEL THAT WAS KIDNAPPED FEW DAYS AGO,WAS FOUND DEAD TODAY IN KADUNA.

                                                                                                                     The Nigerian Army wishes to regrettably inform the public that Colonel Samaila Inusa who was kidnapped on sunday the 27th of March 2016,was found dead today at about 6.00pm.Pre;iminary investigation revealed that most likely the late senior officer was killed same day he was kidnapped by his abductors.This is because the body was found already decomposing around Ajyaita village off Eastern Bypass Kaduna,Kaduna State.Arrangements are in progress to move the body to 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital,Kaduna.May soul rest in peace,Amen.We wish to state in unmistakeable terms that whoever is behind hid abduction and murder would be fished out to face the full wrath of the law.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director,Army Public Relations.
