 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. THE NIGERIAN ARMY COLONEL THAT WAS KIDNAPPED FEW DAYS AGO,WAS FOUND DEAD TODAY IN KADUNA.

                                                                                                                     The Nigerian Army wishes to regrettably inform the public that Colonel Samaila Inusa who was kidnapped on sunday the 27th of March 2016,was found dead today at about 6.00pm.Pre;iminary investigation revealed that most likely the late senior officer was killed same day he was kidnapped by his abductors.This is because the body was found already decomposing around Ajyaita village off Eastern Bypass Kaduna,Kaduna State.Arrangements are in progress to move the body to 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital,Kaduna.May soul rest in peace,Amen.We wish to state in unmistakeable terms that whoever is behind hid abduction and murder would be fished out to face the full wrath of the law.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director,Army Public Relations.
