 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. INDIA BANS DAY-LIGHT COOKING,AFTER MORE THAN 300 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES BECAUSE OF HEAT WAVES

                     According to sources,heat waves in India claimed more than 300 lives this month of April,and Indian officials have forbidden day time cooking in some areas to prevent fires that have killed nearly 80 others.The eastern state of Bihar banned cooking between 9 am and 6 pm,after accidental fires exacerbated by dry,hot and windy weather swept through shanty-towns and thatched-roof houses and killed 79 people.People are also barred from burning spent crops or holding fire ,rituals as part of Hindu religious practice.Disaster management official Vyas,who goes by one name,saif Friday ythat anyone who violates the orders could face up to a year in jail.Sources said further that more than 300 people have died of heat related illness this month of April 2016,as more than 330 million struggle with severe drought.Mor photos below.
