 RE: MISLEADING CLAIMS REGARDING EXTORTION OF MOTORISTS BY LAGOS STATE TASKFORCE – YET-TO-BE-IDENTIFIED SECURITY OPERATIVES: ANOTHER CASE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY The Lagos State Taskforce wishes to address a misleading narrative circulating on social media, particularly in a viral video shared by protesters and concerned groups who recently demonstrated at the Lagos State House of Assembly. The protest was in response to the alleged extortion of motorists by security operatives, yet to be identified, who are not officials of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit. We categorically state that the Lagos State Taskforce had no involvement in the said incident. A SUSPICIOUS BOMB PACKAGE MADE POLICE TO SHUT DOWN A BUSY INTERSECTION IN HOLLYWOOD YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

Image result for suspicious package shuts down hollywood,highland intersection                 According to sources,yesterday monday morning,a suspicious package dumped on the high way between Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue,made the police to shut down a busy intersection to enable police to investigate the object.Authorities say an LAPD bomb squad responded to the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard at 8:40 am.The investigation concluded around 11:30 am,with police saying that the device turned out to be nothing.  One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
