 Press Release: Every Hisbah Officer Is a Peace and Security Ambassador in His Community. Kano State Governor Alh.Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to ensure security and peace  for the protection of lives and property across the state. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Sani Auwal, made the commitment during a stakeholders meeting on the contribution of shari'a sector institutions toward promoting peace and security in Kano State. The meeting was organized by the Kano State Hisbah Board and held at the Coronation hall Government House, Kano. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and urged the Hisbah Board to focus more on providing intelligence reports to conventional security agencies, rather than limiting efforts to moral enforcement alone. EGYPTIAN FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION,CANCELLED THE PROPOSED JANUARY 2017 FRIENDLY MATCH WITH NIGERIA.

Image result for egypt vs nigeria football players                 According to sources,following an alleged disagreement with the Nigerian authorities on match expenses,the Egyptian Football Association has cancelled the proposed January 2017 friendly duel with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.The friendly game was scheduled to be played on January 9,2017 in Dubai as Egypt want to use the duel as preparation for the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.It was stated that the Egyotians FA said they would not be able to bear all the expenses for the friendly encounter with Nigeria,and they have gone ahead to fix another friendly encounter with Tunisia at the same time they are supposed to face Nigeria.Sources claimed that the Nigeria Football Federation {NFF} have demanded that the Egyptian FA should bear all their expenses for the friendly match.Mohammed Sanusi who is the Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation {NFF} explained that the NFF has not received any communication on the match from the Egyptians FA.''Well,I haven't been told anything and I don't think any of us has received any information from the Egyptian Football Federation,'' Sanusi explained.Nigeria will not be participating in the 2017 African Cup of Nations billed to take place in Gabon.
