 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. Image result for ambode                         In line with the state government's commitment to the welfare of retired civil servants/ pensioners from the State Public Service,Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has disclosed that a total sum of Two billion six hundred and ninety eight has been earmarked for next year budget for the construction of Ederly Care Centers across the five administrative division of Lagos.He said,the Elderly Care Centers,which will be constructed at Ikorodu,Badagry,Epe,Alimosho and Lagos Island,was a demonstration of hi administration's commitment to the welfare of the senior citizens in appreciation of their contributions to the development of the State and the Nation while in active service.Governor Ambode stated this at this years Lagos State Senior Citizens/Pensioners Day celebration,organised by the State Ministry of Establishment,Training and Pensions at the Vantage Point Event Center,Acme Road,Agidingbi,Ikeja,saying the desture was to reassure them that their relevance in the society did not end on the day of their retirement from public service.Speaking through his Deputy,Dr.Idiat Oluranti Adebule,Ambode noted that his administration has shown genuine commitment to the worker's welfare including retirees right from the inception through regular payment of salaries of those in active service and prompt payment of retirees benefits especially those that have accrued over the years.He informed the Retirees/Senior Citizens that his administration had earlier paid a total sum of Twenty one billion,nine hundred and twenty nine Naira  as accrued pension rights to Five thousand and twenty seven retirees,while another One billion and five Naira intervention fund was also approved for the payment of the outstanding gratuities and accrued pensions to Local Government retirees and the balance of One hundred and two percent pensions arrears.While describing the theme of this celebration: 'Take a Stand Against Ageism' as instructive and appropriate,the Governor deplored the increasing discrimination and prejudicial attitudes towards older old age and aging process in the society.
