 Carrick favourite for Man Utd caretaker role Michael Carrick has emerged as favourite to be appointed Manchester United caretaker head coach, according to sources close to the process. Club chiefs are hoping to have an appointment in place for when players return to training on Wednesday. While a final decision is yet to be reached, talks are said to have progressed with the 44-year-old over the position. Carrick previously had a three-game stint as United's temporary boss following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's dismissal in 2021. He won two and drew one of those matches but left after Ralf Rangnick's arrival as interim manager. Solskjaer held face-to-face discussions with the club on Saturday about a return. United sacked Ruben Amorim as manager after 14 months in the job on 5 January.                                   According to Zee World,it was quite shocking for everyone to know that television's most loved couple Vivian Dsena {Vicky Jai Walia in The Promise} and Vahbiz Dorabjee have called it quit after three years of blissful marriage.Vivian and Vahbiz,who met each other on the sets of Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani in 2010,married in 2013.The couple separated some time ago and their fans have refused to accept the fact.However,Vivian Dsena recently opened about his failed marriage with Vahbiz.The television star said that he and Vahbiz wre married for three years and are matured enough to decide what is best for them.While neither of them has spoken or revealed the reason behind their separation,speculations and sort of reports were doing rounds that Vahbiz's closeness with a male friend has created the tension between the golden couple but there is no truth to these reports.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
