  Student Arrested For Filming Classroom Assault On Teacher In Malaysia Police in Malaysia have arrested a 16-year-old after reportedly injuring a teacher with an axe at a private school in Kuching, Sarawak. According to Malaysian authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 7:50 am on Wednesday, October 21, at Tunku Putra-HELP School in Sarawak. CCTV footage reportedly shows the teenager entering a classroom armed with an axe and striking a female teacher. He subsequently exits before returning through another entrance and swinging the weapon towards fleeing students. When the teacher attempts to intervene, the suspect allegedly tries to attack her again. However, one male student reportedly managed to overpower him and confiscate the weapon. Sarawak acting police commissioner Saifullizan Ishak said the police received an emergency call, informing them that the student had brought firecrackers to the school and injured a teacher. Image may contain: 1 person, standing                                                                                A Federal High Court,siting in Benin-City,Edo State today February 6,2017 convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment one Amegor Ovenseri for false representation and obtaining by false pretence.
Amegor was first arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,on 21st day of February,2013 on a two count charge bordering on possession of fraudulent documents containing false pretences and Obtaining by false pretence.Amergor upon arraignment pleaded not guilty to the charge.After diligent prosecution by the EFCC,Justice P.I. Ajoku found Amegor guilty on he two count charge and consequently convicts and sentenced him to two years imprisonment without an option of fine on each of the charge.The sentences are to run concurrently.Amergor was arrested with some others suspected to be in internet fraud at No. 56 Siloko Road,Benin City,Edo State on 18th of January,2013 by the men of JTF,4 Brigade,Nigerian Army,Benin following intelligence report on their involvement in internet scams.Laptop computers and phones were recovered from their homes at the point of arrest and they were handed over to EFCC,for further investigation and possible prosecution.Meanwhile,the twenty others have been charged separately..Justice Ajoku after listening to the plea of leniency of the defence counsel and the convict promising to turn a new leaf,sentenced him to two years imprisonment on each of the counts.
