 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. GOVERNOR OBIANO UPGRADES FIRE SERVICE IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}

Image may contain: one or more people, motorcycle and outdoor                        Governor Willie Obiano,has procured three special firefighting trucks with 10,000 litres water storage capacity for the State Fire Service.The Police and the Federal Road Safety Corps also received smart bikes and patrol cars to accompany and support firefighters during emergencies.The procurement is in lin with Governor's pledge to take proactive measures against fire disasters across the state,following a fire incident in February where property worth millions of Naira were destroyed in Onitsha.Governor Obiano formerly handed over the equipment to the Southeast Zonal Officer of the Federal Fire Service at tthe Governor's Lodge in Awka,the Anambra State capital.He said the fire equipment would be deployed to the commercial cities of the three senatorial zones which include Awka,Onitsha and Nnewi.The Governor,however,tasked the people of the state to insure their property,saying it is not only responsibility of the government to ensure their property are protected.''Our people must have the culture of insuring their goods; that culture is not deep-rooted here in Anambra State and we are trying to educate people on the importance of insurance.You won't say because the Governor has bought three fire trucks,then you feel you are protected.Yes we will try to do so,but you must insure your goods,'' he said.One more photo below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
