 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

OGUN WEST LEADERS HAIL AMOSUN'S SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOSHIP CANDIDATE FROM THE ZONE.

Image may contain: 1 person, indoor             The Elders Council of the Ogun West Senatorial District has appreciated the support expressed by the Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun for a governorship candidate from tthe district come 2019.During an appreciation visit to the governor at Governor's Office,Oke-Mosan,Abeokuta on monday,the council,made up of the politics class,community leaders and members of the Elders Consultative Forum,urged him not to relent in his resolve in this regard.Hailing the infrastructural development feat of the Amosun led government,the elders noted that it has changed the political landscape,thus positively changing the soci-economic and political landscape of the state.Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,Chief Jide Ojuko,in his address,enjoined them to work together in unity in realisation of the governor's determination.Responding,Amosun disclosed that ''I am supporting the candidate from the Ogun West district in the interest of fairness,harmony,equity,justice,peaceful coexistence and political correctness''.He said that there are so many capable and qualified hands in the district to run the government effectively,expressing the optimism that a governor from the district would even do greater works that would marvel all.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
