 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

Image may contain: 1 person, on stage and indoor              Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is shocked and profoundly saddened by the death of Prof. Babatunde Osotimehin,Executive Director of the United Nation Population Fund {UNFPA}.The State House Press Release read ''Acting President Yemi Osinbajo,SAN,is shocked and profoundly saddened on the death of Prof. Babatunde Osotimehin,68,Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund {UNFPA},and a former Minister of Health in Nigeria.On behalf of the people and Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,Prof. Osinbajo extends heartfelt condolences to his wife,children and entire family over the passage of their beloved father,grandfather and also an illustrious Nigerian.The Acting President also commiserates with the staff of the UNFPA and the UN system on the demise of a very remarkable international public servant,who served passionately,diligently and worked tirelessly at the global and national stages to reduce maternal mortality and promote universal access to reproductive health.The late Osotimejin,who also had a distinguished career as medical doctor and teacher before he served as a cabinet minister in Nigeria,and later at the UN,will be long remembered for his many significant developmental contributions at home and in the international community,according to Acting President Osinbajo.As Prof,Osotimehin is being mourned internationally,the Acting President urges the Osotimehin family,friends and associates to take solace knowing that his notable service and worthy contributions especially towards improving women and children's health across the world are widely acclaimed,deeply appreciated,and would be long remembered and honoured.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
