 Be Attentive to Your Husbands, Families - Catholic Cleric Urges Mothers on Mother's Day By Ifeyinwa Ogwo Rev. Fr. Francis Oranye, Parish Priest of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Awka, urged mothers to give serious attention to their husbands' needs, just as they do for their children, emphasizing that husbands are also part of their responsibilities. He pointed out that some family issues stem from mothers not taking time to consider their husbands and ensuring their well-being. "Some mothers do not communicate with their husbands and prefer to connect only with their children, neglecting their husbands' faith. Can you openly condemn children who do wrong if they contribute more to the family?" he asked. He encouraged mothers to show care and interest in their husbands. Image may contain: 5 people, people smiling                 Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun has warned militants,cultists and criminals to steer clear of the state or be ready to face dire consequences.Amosun,who gave the warning after he met with heads of security and paramilitary agencies in the state in his office yesterday,said they should either renounce their evil acts or face the full wrath of the law.The governor had met with heads of the Nigerian Army,Nigeria police Force,State Security Service,Federal Road Safety Corps,Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps.''We will not tolerate any criminal groups,no matter the group they belong to,or the name they call themselves in our state.No criminaln would be allowed to come and terrorise us in Ogun State and we are ready and fully prepared for them'',he stated.The governor,who noted that Ogun is known for many positive firsts,called on well meaning Nigerians,who desire to live in harmony and invest in the state,to come and reside with the good people of the state.Commissioner,Ogun State Police Command,Ahmed Illiyasu said the security agencies in the state are united and committed as well as ''ready to dislodge any criminal and bring them down''.
