❤  Y2025 MINISTERIAL PRESS BRIEFING: LASG REITERATES COMMITMENT TO ENFORCE SANITATION LAWS … As KAI Arrests 6,939 Persons for Various Offences, Serves 192 Abatement Notices The Lagos State Government has reiterated its commitment to enforce sanitation laws with the reinvigoration of the State Environmental Enforcement Agency of the Ministry, known as KAI, which has been in operation for a while to complement the functions of other Agencies in the Environment sector by ensuring strict adherence to sanitation laws by all residents..          The burial arrangement for the late award wining Nollywood actor Obi Madubuogwu,who passed away on August 28th,2017.Popularly known as the king of MuZanga and a legend in the Nigerian industry will be buried very soon.
Burial arrangement are as follows:
1. Candle Light Procession will take place on the 31st of October at Ojez,Stadium,by 3pm.
2.Funeral Service & Internment is on Friday,10th of November 2017,at his country home,Nkwere Ogidi,Anambra State.
3. Outing Service is on Sunday,November 12th,at St Philips Anglican Church,Nkwere Ogidi,Anambra State.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
