  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. FILMMAKER, CHUKWUKA EMELIONWU AKA KASVID, DIES IN A FATAL MOTOR ROAD ACCIDENT.{PHOTOS]

Image may contain: 1 person, car and outdoor      A Nollywood filmmaker, Chukwuka Emelionwu, popularly known as Kasvid, has died.
Emelionwu, was reported to have been involved in a fatal accident along Oraukwu, on his way to his village in Anambra State on Wednesday.
Reports say he, however, came out of the accident alive, but was knocked down by a hit and run driver, while attempting to cross to the other side of the road.
Kasvid is famed for producing some of Nollywood biggest hit movies like Mr Ibu in London, Issakabba and Aki and Paw-Paw.
He is also the owner of the famous Kas-Vid Pictures.Some of his colleagues have taken to social media to pay glowing tributes to the filmmaker.One more photo below.
