 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

         The unbelievable has happened in Nsit Ubium Local government area of Akwa Ibom State as a man killed his mother by beating her up.
According to an eye witness, the man confessed that a certain prophet gave him a prophecy that his mother is a witch and behind his sufferings.
Just take a look at the lifeless innocent mother who have not enjoyed life at all, look at where she lives, it's glaring she didn't have education so she ran petty business to raise this idiot and worthless son who has done nothing for his mother.
It's glaring he abandoned his mother and have not been sending her food or money for her upkeep, since he became an independent working adult.
Instead of this man to send money to his mother, he has been sending 10% of his salary to his pastor as tithe for years
That same pastor that have been collecting what is due to his mother, turned him against his poor mother. Now that the pastor has accomplished his mission by brainwashing this  guy, he finally sent him to take the life of his poor mother, by labelling her a witch, what next for him, if not jail and death.#painful.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
