 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

         All is set for the 12th edition of the prestigious Nigerian Media Nite-Out Award.The event which is said to be held at Lagos Airport hotel B event center, On 23rd September , 2018 2:00pm Theme :Role of Media in Ensuring Credible Elections and Maintainance of Good Governance. The event is gradually gathering momentum and attracting rave attention from the socio-economic aspects of the country. The all-embracing media practitioners event which debuted twelve years ago to recognise excellence and achievements by media practitioners (print, electronic/social media) is the brainchild of Solkem Entertainment. Nigerian Media Nite-Out Award which specifically celebrates media excellence in Nigeria was conceived with a view to carrying media practitioners along as an appreciation of their hitherto unrecognized contribution to the development and emancipation of the Nigerian nation. Now in its 12th year of successive outings, this edition promises to be a grander outing than the previous ones and nominations and nominees are already rolling in. This year’s edition of the Nigeria Media Nite-Out Award, 2018,.Dignitaries from all walks of life, captains of industry, politicians, top government functionaries, socialites and media groups are, as usual, expected to grace the ever glamorous event. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
