 Masked gunman kills two in Kentucky bank shooting, manhunt underway in Berea   A manhunt is underway in central Kentucky after a masked gunman fatally shot two bank employees during a robbery Thursday afternoon, prompting authorities to warn residents to stay alert and take precautions. Officials said the suspect entered a U.S. Bank branch on Chestnut Street in Berea at around 2 p.m., where he opened fire before fleeing the scene. Law enforcement described the suspect as approximately 6-foot-3, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark gloves, gray pants, and light-colored athletic shoes. Authorities have not confirmed whether anything was taken during the robbery, and remain uncertain if the suspect escaped on foot or by vehicle. Kentucky State Police said the community is on edge as officers continue searching for the suspect. MAN BAGS JAIL TERM FOR INTERNET FRAUD TODAY AT EDO STATE.{PHOTO}.

      Justice P I Ajoku of the Federal High Court, sitting in Benin City, Edo State, today Tuesday, June 12, 2018 convicted Lucky Ogada, aka Peter Lucas for offences bordering on fraudulent trick and attempting to obtain by false pretences.
Ogada who was prosecuted by the Benin Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on December 9, 2017 in Benin, attempted to obtain money from one Fukuda when he represented himself as Peter Lucas through his gmail account: randyhatchs@gmail.com.The offence is contrary to Section 421 of the Criminal Code Act, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, C39, 2004 and punishable under Section 510 of the same Act.Upon his arraignment on a one count charge, Ogada pleaded guilty to the offence.In view of his plea of guilt, the prosecution counsel, Larry Aso Peters, urged the court to convict and sentence the defendant accordingly. In his response, defence counsel, Afamefuna Agbakor pleaded with the court to tamper justice with mercies as the defendant was a first time offender who has become remorseful since he was arrested and has also promised to desist from such despicable act.Justice Ajoku after listening to both counsels sentenced the defendant to two months imprisonment.
