 Judge rejects Amy Winehouse's father’s lawsuit over sale of singer’s personal items  A London judge has ruled against Mitch Winehouse in a legal dispute over the sale of personal belongings once owned by his late daughter, singer Amy Winehouse. Mitch Winehouse, who serves as the administrator of the singer’s estate, brought the case against Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay, alleging they improperly profited from the sale of her memorabilia. He claimed the pair had no right to sell the items and did so without his knowledge, arguing they should not have benefited from the auctions. Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning at her home in London, bringing an end to a career that made her one of the most recognizable voices of her generation. The dispute centered on roughly 150 personal items, including clothing, accessories, and stage pieces such as dresses, shoes, scarves, earrings, and handbags. ORLU CATHOLIC PRIEST SHOT DEAD MONDAY EVENING.{PHOTOS}.

      The Catholic Diocese of Orlu has been thrown into yet another mourning as its priest, Fr. Jude Egbom, was on Monday evening, shot dead by suspected hired assassins.
Fr. Egbom, until his demise, was the priest of the St Patrick’s Parish Amucha in the Diocese of Orlu, Imo state.
A Facebook user, Comr Chikezie Chico described how the Catholic priest was killed.
“The priests, entire Catholic faithful and Christians of the Catholic Diocese of Orlu and beyond woke up from sleep on the 11th September with the sad news of the assassination of Rev Fr Jude Egbom whose sad event happened on the evening of 10th of September 2018.
“Fr Jude Egbom who visited his hometown Umuwala that very day, decided to have a haircut at Nkwerre not knowing that the heavy hands of death were already at hand. It was gathered that Fr Egbom who was with his junior seminarian was shot severally at the chest by unknown gunmen at the hair saloon to the extent that stray bullet hit one of those running for their lives, and the seminarian heavily wounded,” he said.This is not the first time such news have emanated from the Orlu Diocese. Recall in September of 2017, Rev Fr. Cyriacus Onunkwo of the same diocese was kidnapped and murdered.One more photo below.
