 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. BRIGADIER GENERAL ZAKARI LOGUN ABUBAKAR TAKES OVER COMMAND OF 32 ARTILLERY BRIGADE NIGERIAN ARMY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Brigadier General Zakari Logun Abubakar takes over command of 32 Artillery Brigade Akure from Brigadier General James Ataguba who has recently been posted to Land Forces Simulation Centre as the Director, Training and Operations and Deputy Director General.
The outgoing commander, Brigadier General James Ataguba in his valedictory speech at the send forth organised in his honour, thanked the media organisations, government functionaries and heads of sister security agencies in Ondo and Ekiti states for their professional support throughout his tenure. He enjoined them to give the same support to the new commander, Brigadier General Zakari Logun Abubakar.
Brigadier General Abubakar is a member of 40 Regular Combatant Course and a seasoned Air Defence Artillery officer. He was a member of the Directing Staff(DS) at the National Defence College (NDC) Abuja, until his appointment as the brigade commander.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
