A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. A PASTOR STABBED HIS MOTHER TO DEATH IN ANAMBRA YESTERDAY.

    A Pastor of one of the new generation churches in Ifite Oraifite community of Ekwusigo local government area in Anambra State, reportedly stabbed his mother, Mrs. Grace Anaka to death in the early hours of Tuesday August 27.
Though why the Pastor identified as Nwabueze Anaka killed his mother is yet to be ascertained, it was gathered that he fled the scene almost immediately.
Anambra State police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed confirmed the incident and he told newsmen that the fleeing Pastor stabbed his mother with a dagger in the family compound. He further stated that the police has intensified its effort to arrest the murder suspect.

“There was a report at Oraifite Division today 27/8/2019 at about 12:00pm that same date at about 6:am, one Nwabueze Anaka, aged about 30yrs of Umunakwa Oraifite, allegedly stabbed his mother one Grace Anaka ‘f’, aged about 50 years with a dagger and took to flight.
“Police detectives attached to the Division visited the scene, photographed and took the victim to the hospital where she was certified dead by the medical doctor after which corpse was deposited at the rest land morgue, Oraifite.
“Circumstances surrounding the incident is yet to be ascertained but the complainants alleged that the suspect is having some mental challenges''.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
