 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. A PASTOR STABBED HIS MOTHER TO DEATH IN ANAMBRA YESTERDAY.

    A Pastor of one of the new generation churches in Ifite Oraifite community of Ekwusigo local government area in Anambra State, reportedly stabbed his mother, Mrs. Grace Anaka to death in the early hours of Tuesday August 27.
Though why the Pastor identified as Nwabueze Anaka killed his mother is yet to be ascertained, it was gathered that he fled the scene almost immediately.
Anambra State police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed confirmed the incident and he told newsmen that the fleeing Pastor stabbed his mother with a dagger in the family compound. He further stated that the police has intensified its effort to arrest the murder suspect.

“There was a report at Oraifite Division today 27/8/2019 at about 12:00pm that same date at about 6:am, one Nwabueze Anaka, aged about 30yrs of Umunakwa Oraifite, allegedly stabbed his mother one Grace Anaka ‘f’, aged about 50 years with a dagger and took to flight.
“Police detectives attached to the Division visited the scene, photographed and took the victim to the hospital where she was certified dead by the medical doctor after which corpse was deposited at the rest land morgue, Oraifite.
“Circumstances surrounding the incident is yet to be ascertained but the complainants alleged that the suspect is having some mental challenges''.
