Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.      On the 21/2/2020 at about 3:27pm,following a tip off ,Police detectives attached to B' Division Awka arrested one Emmanuel Bassey 'm' aged 38years of Abi LGA of Cross Rivers State but resides at Ngozika Housing Estates,Awka.
2. Suspect allegedly had unlawful carnal knowledge against the order of nature with over Six Small boys of between 10 and 14 years on different occasions.
3. Suspect has equally made a voluntary confessional statement to the police and blamed his act on demons.
4. Meanwhile,scene of crime was visited by Police detectives and Six victims ,all boys were taken to the hospital for medical examination.
5. Consequently,the Commissioner of Police *CP John B. Abang,fdc* has ordered for immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal investigation Department(CID)for discreet investigation after which suspect would be charged to Court for prosecution,please.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
