 FG Reaffirms Commitment To End Malaria, Strengthens Domestic Health Financing The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, says the Federal Government is determined to eliminate malaria and strengthen domestic financing for healthcare to reduce Nigeria's dependence on external donors.  He stated this while receiving the Board of Trustees of Malaria Consortium on a courtesy visit to the ministry in Abuja.  The delegation visited to congratulate Nigeria on reducing malaria parasite prevalence among children aged six to 59 months from 42 percent in 2010 to 15 percent in 2025, appreciate the government's partnership with Malaria Consortium, and introduce its new board members. KANO COMMISSIONER WHO WAS SACKED FOR REJOICING OVER ABBA KYARI'S DEATH TESTED POSITIVE TO COVID-19.{PHOTO}..

    The former Commissioner for works and Housing in Kano state, Hon. Muazu Magaji, who was sacked last month for celebrating Abba Kyari's death, tests positive for Coronavirus. According to sources ''Kano Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Muazu Magaji, who was sacked by Governor Umar Ganduje for rejoicing over Abba Kyari’s death has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Ganduje sacked the Commissioner for rejoicing over the death of the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari.
Magaji while reacting to Kyari’s death said Nigeria was now free.
The commissioner had claimed that Kyari had so much power that he decided the fate of Nigerians.
However, on Thursday, Magaji revealed that his test result for coronavirus came back positive.He urged Nigerians to pray for him.
Magaji wrote, “This morning my NCDC test result is out. I have been confirmed positive.
“I have been moved to one of the state’s isolation centers. Pray for us.”
